The Cocktail Pendant Lamp Design by Hanna Anonen for Hakola
The Cocktail pendant by Hakola is a colourful, cheery take on the traditional chandelier, inspired by fizzy drinks and delicious layered cocktails. Reminiscent of colourful drinks with different ingredients creating distinct layers in the glass, the pendant’s bubbly lamp shade is made up of 153 wooden sticks assembled into five bright-coloured layers. Designed by Hanna Anonen, Cocktail was entered into the FDS Award design competition in 2017, ultimately winning the third prize on account of its bold, vivid colour palette and innovative structure that filters the light in a pleasant way.
The Cocktail pendant is manufactured in a limited, numbered edition of 50 pieces. Each pendant comprises 153 pine sticks that are cut and painted by hand at Hakola’s factory in Jurva, Finland.
