Lyyli Box Design made from Glass and Wood by Katriina Nuutinen
Katriina Nuutinen’s adorable Lyyli boxes combine the traditions of Finnish glassblowing and woodcrafting into a delightful, modern shape. The box is made of blown and colored glass and a rounded wooden lid, and the cherry on the cake is a tiny glass knob with a delicious color.
The combination of light birch wood and shiny glass is cute and playful, and it only gets cuter in a group of several different boxes. Measuring 6.5 cm in diameter, the Lyyli boxes can be filled with pastils, paper accessories, clips, jewels and other small treasures.
