The Poetic Unterlinden Lamp Design by Architects Herzog & de Meuron

7. February 2019

Named for the museum it was originally designed for, the Artemide Unterlinden LED Lamp gives an unexpected first impression, displaying uneven grooves on the surface left during production. The imperfections become the main design element, carving lines in the aluminum or bronze like wood grain on a tree. The flared base increases the spread of light below, which comes from the warm integrated LED light source in the top of the shade.
